ReplyDeleteAnd no, there is no Sephardic Chief Rabbinate in Israel, only Sephardic and Ashkenazic Chief Rabbis.
He was a major player in Conservative Judaism's Rabbinical Assembly, from which he resigned in 1987, thereafter identifying as Modern Orthodox...
